Hi, my name is Sophie and welcome to my blog.
I have been a HUGE romance fan since I was really young. Any kind of romance in any kind of genre I would love- history; sci-fi; fantasy! Loved em all! I tried writing my first romance when I was about 12 but got so involved with the backstory of my hero and heroine that they didn't actually get together at all! Since I loved reading so much, I decided to become a reviewer at university and was really excited when I would get the copy, straight from the publishers handed to me. I also reviewed films at the screening houses in Soho but you can probably guess which I enjoyed reviewing more.
Fast forward a few years and a few writing courses and I decided to try and actually write something. Sadly it wasn't picked up but when revising decided I actually liked my secondary characters some more, so was born the story 'Yesterday & Forever' which I self-published just to see how it'd go. Luckily it didn't go to badly :)
This blog originally started life as a journey about trying to get published by a traditional publishing house. In the last few months that dream has come true so now onto the next part of my journey- the things I am learning after becoming published.
